We are excited to announce the Batik Fun Walk 2024, a vibrant celebration of Malaysia's cultural heritage through the beauty of batik! This event invites participants of all ages to wear batik clothing. It’s not just a walk; it’s an opportunity to celebrate our culture, connect with the community, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Moreover, it is a creative way to showcase and promote the beauty of batik and support local batik heritage works.

Around the Batik Fun Walk event held at Lanai, MaTiC, the excitement was palpable as participants prepared before embarking on the 2.5km walk! Various activities awaited them, including the chance to take memorable photos with our creative and colorful participants. A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors for making this event even more special.

Participants also gathered before the walk for a warm-up session, joined by YB Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, radio presenter Tuan Khairy Jamaluddin, Encik Asrul Zakaria, Director of MaTiC, and beloved singer Amy Mastura. Their presence added to the festive atmosphere, energizing everyone for the fun-filled day ahead!
