In conjunction with the official opening of the Tourist Police Station at Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC), which begins operations today, a Mesra Malaysia Tourist Police Course was held at the Mini Auditorium, MaTiC. This special course was organised exclusively for the Tourist Police Unit (JPJKK) of the Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM). The course aims to provide frontline personnel with greater exposure and practical guidance in handling situations involving tourists, while enhancing service quality and strengthening Malaysia’s image of hospitality within the tourism sector.

The closing ceremony of the Mesra Malaysia Tourist Police Course was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zamri bin Mat Zain, Deputy Secretary-General (Tourism), and accompanied by Encik Ahmad Alsraf bin Ahmad Mokhtar, Director of MaTiC.
