MaTiC, in collaboration with Pertubuhan Seni Budaya Sabah (PERSENIBAH), organised a special programme in conjunction with the Kaamatan Festival and Gawai Dayak celebration. The programme served as a platform to showcase the unique arts, culture, and heritage of the communities of Sabah and Sarawak through a variety of engaging cultural activities, while providing visitors with an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s diverse traditions.

Throughout the programme, visitors enjoyed a variety of activities, including the Little Queen Competition, Daling-Daling Dance Performance, a special performance by Munirih Jebeni, as well as booths offering a selection of traditional products and food. The programme not only attracted visitors but also served as a platform to promote local arts and culture while fostering unity through greater appreciation of Malaysia’s rich cultural diversity. Through programmes such as this, MaTiC remains committed to providing a platform for arts and cultural practitioners to showcase local heritage to both the public and tourists, while further strengthening MaTiC’s role as the nation’s tourism and cultural centre.
