MaTiC Director, Mr. Mohd Yasin bin Alwi, also participated in the Jom Baca Bersama 10 Minit Programme held in conjunction with Sambutan Hari Buku and Hak Cipta Sedunia 2026. The programme reflects continuous efforts to cultivate a reading culture and strengthen the appreciation of knowledge among MaTiC staff. Through this initiative, reading is encouraged as a positive lifestyle practice while raising awareness on the importance of knowledge in personal, organisational, and community development.

The programme was further enlivened by the participation of MaTiC staff, who collectively spent 10 minutes reading as a sign of support towards fostering a culture of knowledge and learning. Although simple in its implementation, the programme carried a meaningful message that the habit of reading can be nurtured wherever we are. It is hoped that initiatives like this will continue to be practised consistently and become part of everyday life in shaping a knowledgeable, competitive, and reading-oriented society.
