19 December 2024 | Official Handover Ceremony of the Air Conditioning System Upgrade Project at the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC)

An official handover ceremony for the Air Conditioning System Upgrade Project at MaTiC was held with formality and significance. The ceremony was officiated by YBrs. Ir. Izrul bin Idris, J52, Senior Mechanical Engineer from the Public Works Department (JKR) of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, together with Mr. Asrul bin Zakaria, Director of the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC).

This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of facilities and comfort for both local and international visitors to MaTiC, a key tourism hub in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The upgraded air conditioning system is expected to significantly improve daily operations while supporting energy efficiency and sustainable facility management.

Also present at the event was Mr. Mohd Syauki bin Mohd Sidek, representing the Managing Director of Labu Mekar Enterprise, the appointed contractor responsible for the successful implementation of the project. The completion of this project reflects strong collaboration between the public sector and private contractors to ensure high-quality and impactful service delivery.

The ceremony also included a site visit to view the newly installed system and concluded with a photo session with all involved parties.
