30 March 2026 | Engagement Program with Tourism Agencies in Conjunction with the Launch of the VM2026 One Stop Centre

The program was successfully held at the Mini Auditorium, MaTiC. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Mohd Akbal Setia, Head of the VM2026 Secretariat (Advertising and Digital), Tourism Malaysia; Mr. Mohd Yasin bin Alwi, Director of the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC); Mr. Mohamad Nawwar Faiq bin Mohamad Noh, Director of MOTAC KL/Putrajaya; Mr. Mohd Roslan bin Abdullah, Senior Director of the Domestic and Events Division, Tourism Malaysia; Mr. Sufian bin Zainuddin, Director of Tourism Malaysia Central Region; and Datin Seri Dr. Rosmariza Dato’ Che Umar, President of Saloma Kuala Lumpur.

The program also featured an interactive Q&A session with tourism industry players, cultural performances, and demonstrations of traditional games such as gasing pangkah (top spinning), sepak raga bulatan (circle kick game), ketingting (hopscotch), congkak, and wau kapal (traditional kite).

In addition, tourism associations were taken on a guided visit to exhibition areas, including the Nature Exhibition, Food Festival, and Handicraft Booths, showcasing the richness of local art, culture, and heritage. This initiative further strengthened collaboration and promotional efforts in support of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).
